Year: 1979
188000 Original Miles
Color: Frost Green Patina
Engine: 5.2L V8
I purchased this truck in Montana more than 5 years ago. The previous owner had held within the family for many years. During that time, they had the 5.2L V8 engine and running gear rebuilt. I’ve personally invested more than $6k into her not including my time. This 4spd truck with power steering and brakes runs out great, does not burn any oil or have any leaks. These are the best 1st generation Ramchargers with the fully removable top from the front of the windshield back.
She’s the original Frost Green with new black carpet and front/back seats. It’s a Poppy’s Patina clear coat so it’s all sealed up. Included sourcing an original frost green dash out of Canada that’s in perfect condition. All of the gauges are rebuilt, new lens, circuit board and fully functional as well as all the lights, turn signals, horn, wipers, heater, etc. Approximately $1k done in front end work by Les Schwab so the front end is tight, aligned and tracks straight with the 31x10.5 15’s. The steel wheels are the original painted wheels that came on the truck with the matching spare included.
I’ve personally gone through the cooling system and installed a new water pump, replaced all the belts and hoses, including heater hoses, as well as flushed the system. Installed a new fuel pump, alternator, all 4 shocks and steering damper, power steering pump and hoses, full tune-up (cap, rotor, plugs, wires), valve cover gaskets, intake and new Edelbrock carburetor with automatic choke. All fluids changed in front and rear differential, transmission and transfer case with a fresh oil change just performed again with Lucas zinc additive. Includes an original sales brochure as well.
Hagerty has valued at $25k in good condition and up 18% in ’25 to $40k for a show condition vehicle.
