This is one beautiful rust-free 1965 Ford Mustang in Poppy Red with black rallye stripes and lower mustang badging. The current adult owner has had her for the past 20+ years and obviously always garaged. It’s an original “T” code car with the popular 302 5.0L V8 swap mated to a C4 automatic transmission. Front spindles changed and rear 8 ¾ rear end so it’s a 5-lug setup now. We just installed brand new BFG Radial T/As with 225/60/14s in the rear and 215/60/14’s in the front wrapped around the iconic rally wheels.
She left the factory in Ivy Green and was repainted professionally in the current Poppy Red. The fenders, doors, hood and trunk deck were removed as well as all the trim, etc so it was done right. It is in excellent condition and just had a recent polish and hand glaze wax so it’s ready for the shows and cruising season. The black interior is near perfect from the front and back seats to the dash, carpet and headliner. Lots of upgrades including power disc brakes up front, power steering, aluminum radiator with reservoir, electronic ignition and a retro sound stereo system so the original radio hole has not been cut. All of the lights, gauges, turn signals, heat, etc. are fully functional.
This car is in excellent condition and an easy turn-key and drive anywhere setup.
